PUMA FUNDRAISER – HELP FUND OUR 2010 SEASON

The Pumas are a non-profit 501(c) organization. Our Coaches donate their time and efforts to help our team member realize their future softball goals. In the seven year history of the Pumas, our Coaches have secured college placement for every Puma player. This year we have a full schedule with lots of travel and tournaments that will showcase players to college scouts, including a tournament in Hawaii.

To make this possible for all our hard-working Pumas, we’re having a Polynesian-theme fundraiser on February 20, 2010. These funds will be used for tournament fees, equipment and travel expenses, etc.

These girls work hard and are worthy of your support. They perform well academically and participate in their respective high school teams and are wonderful examples to other teens in their communities. They volunteer in our hospitals, train seeing eye dogs and work with special needs children along with many other notable deeds.

We need your help!!

The Puma girls celebrated the holidays with a fun reunion lunch on Saturday.  Sunday the girls came back for an alumni game where the college girls took on the babies.  College girls came out ahead even though they had no pitchers show up.

With the winter break ahead, some of you may want to consider registering for winter camps to attend.  It’s best to check if the schools you are interested in are hosting any.  If they are, make sure you attend.  Here are a few local ones if you are interested it.

The Pumas came out to practice in their costumes showing us all how much Halloween spirit they have.  Yes, the girls did practice in their costumes.  Mark was also in costume, but conveniently not in this picture.
